This is a package design project for a fictitious company called “Worth Your Salt.” This brand promises to provide healthy snacks that have a high salt content. This would especially be good for those who require high salt diets for their health, but want a healthier alternative.
The brand carries two types of products. One is a large jar of olives that comes in two flavors: mediterranean and sicilian herb. The other is a tomato juice drink that comes in a 5.5 oz can that comes in two flavors: original and spicy.
With the design I am building off the idea of salt water, and grains of salt. The colors should be reminiscent of the ocean, which is salt water. The white and colored dots are supposed to look like salt grains. I wanted to make it clear that the product was full of salt. I think my design did this both in the visual aspects but also in how I designed the type. On the nutrition label the sodium content is in very large text so that it is easy to see.
